About BringYa

Same-day local delivery that actually makes sense.

BringYa is a same-day small parcel delivery platform designed for Edmonton, Alberta. A customer posts a delivery, a nearby verified rider accepts it, and the receiver watches it arrive on a live map — no freight logistics, no restaurant menus, just simple local courier service.

Why we built BringYa

Sending a bag, a gift, or a small parcel across Edmonton shouldn't feel like booking a freight truck. We built BringYa around one job: one customer, one small package, one pickup address, one drop-off address, one rider. That focus means every part of the service — from pricing to tracking to delivery verification — is designed specifically for local small parcel delivery.

Every fare is calculated on our server using real road distance from routing data, not a straight line on a map. Money is stored as cents to prevent rounding errors. Riders are reviewed and approved by real people, not an automatic signup form. Tracking links use high-entropy secure tokens, and a unique delivery PIN ensures your parcel reaches the intended recipient.

The BringYa app serves as both customer and rider in a single download. This website handles booking, tracking, account management, and operational dispatch. Whether you're sending a package or delivering one, everything runs through the same trusted platform.

Server-calculated pricing

Fares are computed on our server from real road kilometres — never from a number typed in a browser or phone. Quotes have an expiry. Every order stores a snapshot of the exact rates used.

Human-approved riders

Phone verification makes you a customer. Becoming a rider requires submitting documents, passing a review by our team, and receiving personal approval. No shortcuts.

Private, secure tracking

Receivers open a link — no login, no app download. They see the delivery status, live ETA, rider first name, and a map. Your email, phone, and payment details stay completely private.

Real-time dispatch operations

Our dispatch team can create delivery requests, assign riders manually, and share tracking links and PINs — with the same live, real-time visibility that customers get.

Where BringYa delivers

BringYa currently operates in Edmonton, Alberta. Our service area is defined as a geographic zone managed by our operations team. When you book a delivery, we validate that both your pickup and drop-off addresses fall within our active service area. If either address is outside the zone, we'll let you know before you're charged anything.

How live tracking & delivery PIN works

When a delivery is confirmed, BringYa creates a secure tracking URL and a unique 4-digit delivery PIN. Share both with the receiver. They open the link in any browser to follow the rider on a live map, see the estimated arrival time, and view delivery progress. When the rider arrives, the receiver provides the PIN to verify they're the intended recipient. If you regenerate the tracking link, the previous one is immediately invalidated for security.

Transparent, honest pricing

BringYa calculates delivery fares from actual road distance using routing data — not the straight-line distance between two points. Before you confirm your order, you see a complete fare breakdown: base fare, distance charge, service fee, and any applicable waiting charges. The price you see is the price you pay. Waiting time, if it applies, is calculated from server timestamps — not rider guesswork.
