How to register and send a parcel with BringYa. This guide is for personal customers (not businesses).

If you are a pharmacy, grocery, or other business that needs staff logins and a company wallet, use the corporate guide instead.

1. What you can do

With a customer account you can:

  • Send a parcel from a pickup address to a drop-off address
  • See the price before you confirm
  • Pay by cash or card (whichever we have enabled), and use any account credits
  • Apply a promo code when you have one
  • Track the rider live on a map
  • Share a private tracking link with the receiver — no app or account needed on their side
  • Give the receiver a delivery PIN so only they can complete the drop-off
  • Message your rider while the delivery is in progress
  • Tip and rate your rider afterwards
  • Raise a problem with a delivery and get help from support

BringYa is for single-parcel deliveries within our service area. It is not a freight, pallet, or multi-stop courier service.

2. Create an account

You can register in the BringYa mobile app (iPhone or Android) or on the website.

  1. Download BringYa from the App Store or Google Play.
  2. Open the app and tap Create an account / Register.
  3. Enter:
  4. Full name
  5. Phone number
  6. Email
  7. Password and confirm password
  8. Referral code, if a friend gave you one (optional)
  9. Accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
  10. Submit. BringYa sends a 6-digit SMS code to your phone.
  11. Enter the code. Your phone is now verified and the account is ready.

Option B — Website

  1. Go to https://bringya.ca/register.
  2. Enter the same details as above and accept Terms and Privacy.
  3. Enter the SMS code when asked. On the website you can also choose Call me with the code if SMS does not arrive.
  4. You are signed in and taken to your account.

Tips

  • Use a phone number you can receive SMS on. The code expires after a few minutes.
  • If you do not get the code, wait a moment and tap Resend.
  • You must be 18 or older.

3. Sign in

Forgot your password? Use Forgot password? on either the app or the website and follow the SMS reset steps.

If the app says your phone is not verified, enter the new SMS code. You cannot book until the phone is verified.

4. Send a package

On the website

  1. Sign in and go to Book (https://bringya.ca/account/book), or tap Book a delivery from Overview.
  2. Follow the steps:
StepWhat to enter
PickupAddress where the rider collects the parcel. Search, drop a pin on the map, use your current location, or choose a saved address.
Drop-offDestination address, the same way.
ReceiverReceiver name and phone (both required), plus delivery instructions if the address needs them.
PackageChoose the size that matches your parcel, add a short description, mark it fragile if needed, and confirm the prohibited-items declaration.
ScheduleDeliver now, or schedule a later pickup. Same-day scheduled pickups need a little notice; you can also book further ahead. The booking screen shows the times we accept.
PriceReview the price shown for this trip. Enter a promo code here if you have one.
  1. Choose Cash or Card, and tick apply credits if you have a credit balance you want to use.
  2. Confirm and post the delivery. You will see the order number (for example BYA-100231), the delivery PIN, and the tracking link.

In the mobile app

  1. Open Home.
  2. Tap Send a package.
  3. Complete the same steps: pickup → drop-off → receiver → package → schedule → price → payment → confirm.

The price on the screen is the amount for this trip. Confirm only when you are happy with it. If you leave the booking unfinished for a while, refresh the price before you post.

Have the parcel ready at pickup. Extra waiting at the door can change the final amount — the booking screen tells you when that applies.

5. After you post

The order status updates live. Typical flow:

  1. Finding a rider
  2. Rider assigned — you see the rider’s first name, photo, and rating
  3. Heading to pickup → Arrived at pickup → Picked up
  4. On the way → Arrived at drop-off → Delivered

You can:

  • Open the delivery from Deliveries in the app or the website
  • Watch the rider on the live map
  • Copy or share the tracking link with the receiver
  • Show the delivery PIN to the receiver (do not post it publicly)
  • Message the rider once they are assigned
  • Cancel while BringYa is still finding a rider (see section 11)

If you booked a later pickup, a rider may be assigned before that time. That is normal.

6. Tracking for the receiver

Every confirmed delivery gets a private link such as https://bringya.ca/t/....

We send this link to the receiver by SMS when you post the delivery, and you can share it yourself at any time.

The receiver does not need an account or the app. They can see:

  • Order number and current status
  • Destination and estimated arrival
  • Rider first name, photo (if available), and rating
  • Live map while the delivery is on the move
  • Delivery PIN (until the delivery is finished)
  • Proof of delivery photo after completion

They never see your email, your phone number, your payment details, or anything else from your account.

The link stops working 24 hours after delivery. If you need to cut it off sooner, contact support.

7. Delivery PIN

The rider must enter the correct PIN before the delivery can be completed. Give the PIN only to the person who should receive the parcel. You can find it on the order screen, and the receiver can see it on the tracking page.

8. Payments

MethodHow it works
CardNothing is charged when you book. Your card is charged when the rider picks up the parcel. If your bank asks for extra confirmation, we send you a notification with a secure link to approve it. BringYa never stores raw card numbers.
CashYou pay the rider in cash at pickup, not at the drop-off. The rider confirms the cash was collected before continuing to the destination.
CreditsIf you have an account credit balance, tick apply credits at checkout and it comes off the amount payable.
Promo codeEnter it on the price step. Codes have their own conditions.

Saved cards are managed under Payments in the account. You can add one while booking or delete one later. Receipts appear on the completed order.

9. Tips and ratings

Tip. After a delivery is completed you can send the rider a tip from the order screen, for a few days after delivery. Choose the amount you want. Tips are a separate payment and go to the rider.

Rate. Rate the rider 1–5 stars in the mobile app after a delivery, with optional tags such as *Friendly* or *Careful with package* and an optional comment. You can rate each delivery once.

10. Messaging, problems, and support

Message the rider. Once a rider is assigned, open the delivery and use the chat. You can send text and one photo per message. Chat stays available to read after the delivery for your records.

Report a problem with a delivery. Open the delivery and choose Help (web) or Report a problem (app). Pick a category — damaged, missing, late, wrong address, rider conduct, payment, or other — and describe what happened. Our team replies in the same thread. One report per delivery.

General support. For anything not tied to a specific delivery (account, app, payments), open Support and start a ticket, or email support@bringya.ca.

11. Cancelling

You can cancel while the order is still finding a rider. Once a rider has accepted, the cancel option is no longer available — contact support instead.

If you cancel, any credits you applied are returned to your balance.

12. Credits and referrals

  • Referrals. Your referral code is on your profile and on the Referral page. Share it with a friend; when they register with your code and complete their first delivery, any reward BringYa is currently offering is added to your credit balance.
  • Credits. Open Credits to see your balance and the history of how each credit was earned and spent. Credits are applied at checkout when you choose to use them.

What is currently on offer is shown on the Credits and Referral pages.
